Katie Colby

Katie was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and spent parts of her childhood in Seabeck, Washington, and Niagara Falls, New York—experiences that shaped her creative perspective and adaptability. She graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School before earning dual bachelor’s degrees in Media Production and English from Buffalo State University, where she honed her skills in storytelling, content creation, and communication

With a strong background in multimedia and digital marketing, Katie brings a wealth of experience to her role as Marketing Director. She has produced content for social media, documentary series, short films, and podcasts, collaborating with organizations like Buffalo Toronto Public Media and Be Heard Talk with Selena Hill. Katie also has a solid foundation in analytics, having worked with Talkwalker on Social Content Rating, where she measured social engagement and tracked OTT content performance.

At Cantor, Wolff, Nicastro & Hall, Katie leads the firm’s marketing efforts with creativity, strategy, and a deep understanding of how to connect with the community. Her goal is to highlight the firm’s mission and values through authentic, impactful storytelling.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her dog, Happy Feet. She’s also a Halloween enthusiast—you can find her every fall at Frightworld America’s Screampark, where she takes on a spookier role as a scare actor in the Carnival Boneyard.
