A Message from Mark Cantor

We want to thank you all for the well wishes, phone calls, emails, and prayers. With every bit of kindness extended to my niece and her husband Wally, my heart swells with warmth from our great city of Buffalo.

We appreciate all of the generosity shown to my niece and truly appreciate everyone who’s donated to fund Maksym’s funeral and Stephanie’s medical care thus far.

Thank you,

OSHA Chemical Exposure in New York State

Our tech lead Rachel Cantor has been collecting data from U.S. Department of Labor OSHA on chemical exposure testing dating back to 1984!

Check out the map of New York state she created based on this data which includes monitoring of occupational hazardous materials like asbestos, lead, and other toxic materials commonly cited for violations of OSHA.

Thank you, Buffalo

Thank you Buffalo, New York for being so incredibly supportive towards us this week.

Also thank you Andrew Cuomo for acting so quickly in response to an email from Mark Cantor’s daughter, Rachel Cantor. It was barely even two hours on Sunday from the time she emailed his office, asking for a guardrail to be placed in his memory, and the time of the press release.

Of course, we all wish the changes didn’t have to come only after such tragic circumstances, but in times like these, this is a life saving change so others can enjoy the park safely for many years to come.
