Michael Hicks

Born in Anaconda, Montana, Michael Hicks grew up in West Seneca, New York, where he attended West Seneca West High School. After moving to Nashville for some time, he returned to Buffalo to embark on a career in the insurance industry as an Auto Liability Claims Adjuster. Michael later relocated to Seattle, continuing his work as both an Auto Liability and Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster. During this period, Michael also took on the additional role of an Auto Liability Arbitrator, settling complex liability disputes between major insurance companies
Frustrated with the policies and practices of large insurance companies that prioritized profit over people, Michael decided to pivot his career towards advocacy. He returned to Buffalo to join the legal field, where he passionately advocates for individuals and their rights, particularly those who have suffered from personal injuries.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys a variety of activities including walking, biking, swimming, and traveling. He’s also a music enthusiast and a dedicated Buffalo Bills fan. Michael enjoys thrifting and has a business on the side where he utilizes his skilled eye to find unique pieces for others to enjoy. He cherishes spending quality time with friends and family, always seeking to uplift and support others in his community.
